Write a list of the jobs you want us to do.
Think about the colors you want for devices, switch plates, fan blades, etc.
Put fixtures you want installed in the correct rooms or indicate on the box where they go. Get the correct light bulbs for your fixtures. (Wattage, style, etc.) We can’t test a newly installed light without the correct bulb!
Clear the area where the electrician will be working. Codes require a three-foot clearance area around service panels and fuse boxes to give the electrician safe access and proper work space.
Have the electrician park as close to your door as possible. Shorter trips to service vans makes for a quicker job. Give the electrician enough parking space to easily access his vehicle for supplies.
